At Dowen Estate Agents, we pride ourselves on providing a remarkable 5 STAR ESTATE AGENCY SERVICE through our team of amazing property experts. Our passion for what we do stems from our founder, Denis Dowen, who established the company in 1982. In 2020, long-term employees John Nicholson and Trudie Bowes acquired the company, and since then, we have continued to evolve. We now have eight branches, as well as bespoke Auction Stores, offering coverage of mid North East England from the coast to the A1 corridor.

Our Services

As a full-service estate agency, we offer a wide range of property-related services. Our residential sales department has sold tens of thousands of properties in all price ranges over the years. We were also a founding member of The Great North Property Auction, which has now exceeded thousands of sales since its inception in 2012.

In addition to sales, our lettings department manages hundreds of homes, and we provide private surveys and EPCs to both corporate and private clients through our panel of independent surveyors. Our conveyancing services are also available at competitive rates through a panel of local solicitors, and mortgages can be arranged via our panel of independent mortgage brokers.
