Homesmart Sales and Lettings was established in 2006 by our dedicated owner, Julie Wood. Julie, a private landlord and investor herself, recognized a gap in the market for a truly professional and proactive estate agency. Dissatisfied with the impersonal and often inactive service she encountered, she decided to create a company that prioritised client satisfaction, transparency, and expertise.

Driven by her hands-on experience in the property industry, Julie started by offering property management services to other landlords who sought reliable and attentive management for their portfolios. As Homesmart Lettings organically grew, word of mouth spread, and Julie expanded her company's reach, securing the trust of over 140 landlords throughout Yorkshire. Today, Homesmart manages more than 165 properties across a wide expanse of West Yorkshire, including vibrant locations like Liversedge, Heckmondwike, Cleckheaton, Mirfield, Birstall, Clifton, Hartshead, Batley, Dewsbury, Wakefield, Bradford, and Huddersfield.

Homesmart's success in providing exceptional letting services inspired Julie to take the next step. In 2014, she launched Homesmart Sales, bringing the same dedication and expertise to the realm of property buying and selling. Understanding the inherent stress associated with these major life decisions, Julie assembled a team of passionate individuals committed to guiding both buyers and sellers through the process with clear communication, robust negotiation skills, and unwavering support.
