Landlords Guide to Property Letting

When preparing a property for letting, there are several factors to consider. These include the location, condition, and size of the property, as well as prevailing market forces. Our experienced staff will assess your property and provide expert advice on how to maximize your rental income.

Presentation is Key

When presenting your property to prospective tenants, it is crucial to make a good first impression. A welcoming presentation is paramount, and neutral decor works best. Avoid any clutter to make the property feel spacious, and keep the garden neat and tidy. It is also essential to provide photocopies of instructions for appliances and central heating, and to ensure that the tenants have one complete set of property keys.

Inventory and Schedule of Condition

As part of our comprehensive management service, we arrange an Inventory and Schedule of Condition for all properties. This includes both furnished and unfurnished properties. This detailed schedule is essential for documenting the condition of the property and its contents, and for resolving any disputes that may arise at the end of the tenancy.

Negative: The reviews highlight numerous issues with communication, property management, and landlord-tenant relations, resulting in a toxic experience for many customers.

Communication

The majority of reviews highlight issues with communication from Wilson's staff. Several authors mention poor attitude, slow response times, and unprofessional treatment from members of staff.
