At Diamond Mills & Co, we are proud to be the longest established Estate Agency in Felixstowe, with a history dating back over 100 years. Our company was founded by James Diamond and Godfrey Mills shortly after the Second World War, taking over the firm from R J Girling which had been established in the town since 1908.
Our Story
Our senior partner, Nigel Papworth, FRICS, has been an Estate Agent in Felixstowe for over 35 years. His great grandfather, Shuckforth Downing, worked as an Estate Agent Auctioneer in the town in the 1880s, a tradition proudly remembered by the display in our offices of a poster bearing his name and promoting an auction at The Victoria Hall Sale Room being held on Wednesday 12th September 1888.
